At the Balanced Energy Studio we teach Yoga with a balanced approach, using carefully selected course programmes for beginners, intermediate or advanced students.

Yoga is an ancient system of personal development and wellness which originated many thousands of years ago in India. A Yoga class incorporates a balanced blend of active exercises (asanas) to tone and strengthen with breathing (pranyama), relaxation, stretching and meditation assisting the body to benefit fully from the exercise.

It is suitable for all ages and abilities since there are many ongoing levels to learn from the very beginner to a highly advanced practitioner. Because of this Yoga can always introduce something fresh and interesting into your practice.

Yoga classes at Balanced Energy Studio are taught by Catherine Opie who is a fully qualified and internationally accredited teacher with 20 years of personal experience in Yoga practices.
